This fall, I will start my training to be an airline pilot. I would like a non-digital watch to help keep track of time. Do yall have any suggestions as to what would be a great aviators watch?

Any old Timex has kept pretty good time for me. However I think you just want to make a statement at happy hour.

I used digital ones as they are easier to glance at, and see elapsed time/time to go etc. Later, I used ones that autosync'd with the Naval Observatory so I didn't have to rehack them.
If you want a non-digital watch, I'm thinking you REALLY don't want it for work: do you really want to wear a $800-1000 watch that's going to get banged around as you climb into and out of the cockpit every day?

For what it is worth - i bought a Seiko Aviator watch in 1986. I'm still wearing it 24/7. It keeps good time too.

Haven't worn a watch for ten years. With cellphones and clocks all over the cockpit and in my car watches have become a pain in the ass

I have become a huge fan of my Wenger Aerograph Day/Date.

    http://www.wengerna.com/browse/product.jsp?prod_id=9873&cat_id=5&cat_name=Wenger%20Watches&sub_cat_id=6

It has a large, easy to read face and a second hand. A great, inexpensive watch that looks good.

I used a Timex most of my flying career.
My son found it in the sand at the beach in Hawaii and I traded him for my Boliva.
    Worked for me for years.
