Go to schhol for Aircraft and Powerplant Mechanics.

Is that one of those trick terrorist questions.. like "How do I fly the plane, no I don't need to learn how to land" I think the FBI , the CIA and MI5 are going to come after you ! |

Most schools that have an aerospace program will have a mechanical concentration that you can select. You will need to get your A and P. Mechanical engineering will not help you get the certifications that you need. You won't need a masters to be an aircraft mechanic. In fact, you don't even need a BS (While it is a good idea). You just have to get the A and P.
